Required Registration Details (RRD):
When registering for Sociallinked some personal information is required (First Name, Last Name, Email, Date of Birth, Location and Gender. Unless you are a group, in which case some information is not required). Some of these details will be publicly visible through your account page, however your email will never be disclosed publicly, or passed on to any third party source without first informing you, although under exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to forward your details to ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and Legitimate Authorities upon their request and/or explicit circumstances.
Profile Privacy:
It is possible for you to opt-out of having some information publicly visible on your profile, such as your Location, Date of Birth & Gender, this can be managed from your profile settings area.
Data Logs:
We log all IP addresses to our databases, this is to ensure the safety of our community. In some cases this information can be passed on to an external source such as a WHOIS query, we also reserve the right to forward your details to ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and Legitimate Authorities upon their request and/or explicit circumstances.
Sociallinked stores certain data within your computer when you login to the service, your web browser reads this information and uses is, it allows you to keep logged in over long periods of time.
Third Party Services:
Sociallinked uses a tool named Google Analytic's to help us understand who is using our service in order to help us improve and expand it, information such as your Web Browser, Operating System, Location etc may be recorded, but this information will never be publicly disclosed although we reserve the right to forward your details to ISP's and Legitimate Authorities upon request and/or explicit circumstances.
Users under 13:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately remove the account and delete all personal information from our logs and/or database.
Sociallinked is not aimed for users under 13 years of age, providing a fake date of birth to join the Website is an offence of fraud.
This policy is in place to keep the community and children safe.
